Becky Lynch hasn't been seen in WWE since May when she lost the Women's Championship to Liv Morgan. There is a belief from some that the former champion has now retired from the company.
Lynch has captured some of the biggest accolades in WWE over the past few years and whilst she could happily walk away from the company and not re-sign a new deal, there are several reasons why she has to make her return.
#4. Becky Lynch has unfinished business with Liv Morgan
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Becky Lynch lost the Women's Championship to Liv Morgan due to interference from Dominik Mysterio on two occasions. There was a belief that Mysterio was accidentally helping Morgan but it has since been discovered that they were working together and now Morgan has to make her return to get even.
Now that Rhea Ripley is injured, it would make sense for her to make her return and battle Morgan in the coming months while Mami is on the sidelines.
#3. Becky is yet to announce her retirement
Becky has been away from WWE for five months and it appears that she is still yet to officially make an announcement on her future. The former Women's Champion has posted several cryptic updates but the fact that she is yet to decide that she has retired means that there is still a chance she will make her return.
Lynch could even return as a part-time star and be offered the same contract as Roman Reigns, so she has a number of options if she decides to return.
#2. Seth Rollins remains part of WWE
Becky Lynch's husband Seth Rollins is still a major star in WWE and the couple has been able to juggle life on the road with their daughter over the past four years. It's hard to believe that the duo will be happy apart from each other with Rollins remaining in WWE without Lynch.
Lynch will also likely want her daughter to be able to see her wrestle and have her at ringside for some of her biggest matches. It's likely one of the biggest reasons why Lynch has to return.
#1. Becky Lynch promised she would return
After Becky Lynch lost her steel cage match to Liv Morgan on RAW back in May, she updated the above post, making it clear that she has some unfinished business. Lynch wrote the message "to be continued" which means that she will be back.
This leaves an open timeline on her hiatus and means that she can take as long away as she needs before opting to lace her boots up again. Trish Stratus retired back in 2006 but has returned and recently been part of the Women's Division again. Lynch has a lot of time to decide if she wants to return and when, and since she is yet officially retire her future remains unknown.
