Becky Lynch has been away from WWE since May 27, 2024, when she lost to Liv Morgan on RAW and missed the opportunity to reclaim the Women's World Championship. As her contract expired a few days after that, The Man left WWE and it was unclear whether she would come back.
Almost five months later, though, reports have surfaced that Becky's WWE return is set to happen soon and it is considered "a matter of time" before it transpires. With that in mind, we take a look at six ways The Man could come back to the Stamford-based company.
#6. She could team up with Lyra Valkyria

Before she departed from WWE, Becky Lynch adopted a mentor role on RAW, trying to help Lyra Valkyria step up and make a statement.
Thus, The Man could return to the red brand and side with Valkyria, creating a tag team that would go after the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. At the same time, the 37-year-old could offer advice to the former NXT Women's Champion to help her emerge as a top star.
#5. Team up with her husband Seth Rollins

Both Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have been away from WWE recently. The Visionary is recovering from injuries and it could take weeks before his comeback.
Should The Man return, we could see her team up with her husband. Even though this is not so likely to happen, we could see the two team up against The Terror Twins, given Seth and Becky both had feuds with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, respectively.
#4. Siding with Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch had an intense feud that led to a title match at WrestleMania XL, where Mami emerged victorious. The Man also hinted that she wanted a rematch against Rhea.
However, with Ripley now a babyface and in the middle of a rivalry with Liv Morgan, we could see The Man come back and side with Mami against the reigning Women's World Champion, especially if Raquel Rodriguez potentially returns and teams up with Liv.
#3. Having a heel turn and going after Rhea Ripley
If Rhea Ripley reclaims the Women's World Championship, we could get to see a rematch between her and Becky Lynch.
This time, though, things would be different, as Mami would be a babyface, while The Man would probably return as a heel to challenge for the title.
#2. Royal Rumble return
Royal Rumble looks like the perfect opportunity for superstars to make their return after a long hiatus. With that in mind, we could see Becky Lynch return late in the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble Match and win it, thus clinching a spot at WrestleMania 41.
That way, The Man could go after Rhea Ripley or Liv Morgan on RAW or move to SmackDown and challenge Bayley, Nia Jax, or a returning Charlotte Flair.
#1. Returning together with Charlotte Flair
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are considered two of the best female stars of all time in WWE. They are both out at the moment since The Queen is recovering from knee surgery and is in the final stage of her recovery.
Thus, we could see them return together as a tag team and go after Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
