While it is obviously never possible to have all the Superstars of the entire roster on the show, it is expected that the Champions will be showing up live, or at least in a video promo.

However, that was not what happened on tonight's AEW Dynamite.

The fans have called AEW's Women's Division the weakest part of the roster, and while I don't quite agree with that, the lack of Riho on tonight's show struck me as odd. Riho is the current AEW Women's Champion and is extremely popular.

After her successful defense over her former teacher, Emi Sakura, at Full Gear, Riho could be safely expected to appear and celebrate or at least set up her next feud. However, that did not happen at all.

Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes appeared as they took out Allie and cut off a lock of her hair, and Nyla Rose won her match, but the Women's Champion was nowhere to be seen.
