When you have to follow arguably the best match of the year, you are bound to come up a little short. Kris Statlander is a good competitor but she is not quite Kenny Omega in the ring yet and because of the same, one was forced to compare this match with the one that preceded it.
The issue with Nyla Rose as Champion is that she is not quite Riho in the ring. At least with Riho, you knew that the matches would be of a certain quality and of a certain caliber, and ever since she's dropped the title, the rest of the division has been exposed.

The easiest fix for this problem would be to have the women not wrestle as long as they did and have the contests end in a matter of no time, just like WWE did to hide Goldberg's weaknesses. Not every match has to go longer than ten minutes.
I wouldn't necessarily call it a bad match. I'd have just put this match on the pre-show, if I was the booker.
