One of the matches that I did not predict would go down as well as it did was Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara. These are obviously two young men who know that it was their job to come out and steal the show this week. And that is exactly what they did by putting on a show to remember in a card filled with some incredible matches.
A lot of comparisons have been made between Darby Allin and Jeff Hardy and whether or not Allin manages to reach the level, he is a star already. The only thing that can probably prevent him from getting there is the style of wrestling that he seems to favor in the ring. I really do hope that he lives to a very old age because some of the dives that he pulled off were the very definition of 'suicidal'.
Sammy Guevara was a great dance partner and I can only see great things for him in All Elite Wrestling, as a member of the Inner Circle.
