Maybe I'm immune to the charm of ECW as I wasn't a fan growing up. But the main event match between Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam, while okay, did not do much for me personally.
I understand the historical significance of the match and why fans of the ECW product found it special considering that these two men pretty much laid the foundation of the promotion in the very building where they waged war this week. But then again, the match was a little slow paced and unexciting for me, to be quite honest.

Impact Wrestling has been putting on some of the best main event matches over the past few weeks. This match just seemed like a step in the wrong direction, where the quality of the match was sacrificed for nostalgia.
However, I did not mind what happened after the match.
