I had assumed that with Rich Swann as the X-Division Champion, the division will know no bounds. However, the division has never been as relegated to the sidelines as it is right now. Why is the X-Division Champion not having competitive matches with the amazing high-fliers in Impact Wrestling?
Swann could potentially be tearing it up with the likes of The Rascalz. He could be waging a bunch of wars with Fenix or even someone like Willie Mack. Remember that the X-Division is not about weight limits but instead, it is about 'no limits'.
But however, as good as it was, the rivalry between Rich Swann and Sami Callihan did nothing to elevate the X-Division Championship per se. Impact Wrestling should have Rich Swann potentially clash with Johnny Impact down the line as he has the cash-in chip that he won at United We Stand in the big multi-man match.
