Sure, Naomi won her Women’s Championship match against Lana, but that was a given. The same holds true for Breezango, and their victory over The Ascension. All the matches that fans were invested in were won by the heels, and there was really no pay off for the crowd in the arena.
From Carmella’s win sucking the wind out of the building when the crowd clearly wanted Becky Lynch to emerge victorious, to Baron Corbin, the least impressive person in the Money in the Bank ladder match winning the big prize, this was a show that did not satisfy the fans in the building and those watching at home.

One babyface win would have made the event feel far better in our opinion.
