We always knew that the main event world be very good indeed. We did not know just how good it would be.
From great storytelling (Baron Corbin taking out Shinsuke Nakamura at the beginning, only for him to make a babyface comeback after a while), to absolutely breathtaking spots (too many to name, so we’ll just mention Zayn powerbombing Ziggler from the top of the ladder and AJ Styles, dangling miles in the air and falling to the floor), to a very hot crowd (singing along to Nakamura’s theme song when he made his babyface comeback), this match was just perfect.

It may even have been our favourite WWE match this year, matched only by the Tyler Bate vs. Pete Dunne match at NXT Takeover: Chicago. This was awesome...clap, clap, clapclapclap!
