We get it! Sure, the segment was meant to be boring, so that when Roman comes in and saves the day, he gets a babyface reaction. No, the modern wrestling fan is smarter than this, and won’t fall prey to your cliched 80s programming, Vinnie Mac. As expected, the segment was a yawn and a half, and got nobody over.

If Goldberg wasn’t returning, we’d have turned off our TVs.
