When you have two teams comprising of members who are going to square off in the future, in the main event of the show, it can lead to interesting situations. The main event was a contest to determine which team would crack first.

Owens and Zayn did, before Styles and Nakamura could. They played it brilliantly in the ring, as they showcased a meltdown between two friends. This makes their contest next week very interesting indeed.

We loved the post-match promo with Zayn too, where he said that he hasn't won any gold in WWE thus far, reminding us that despite his spot, he wasn't always pushed. Owens vs. Zayn next week should be a very good match.
