Beth Phoenix is a legend and a very worthy WWE Hall of Famer. She has inspired countless women in the locker room to step up their game and follow in her footsteps having had the career that she has had.
I just think that in the high octane environment that is NXT, her commentary is just not apace with all of the action. It did not help that she messed up the fact that the team in the match comprised of Lorcan and Burch, and not Oney and Lorcan (Oney Lorcan is one of the performers).

That said, I really think that she would do a commendable job when it comes to calling the main roster shows. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness are both a treasure trove of information on moves and holds, which Beth Phoenix is not.
Maybe she'll improve with time as Percy Watson did.
