We often complain when a top superstar isn't actively involved in a storyline at all times. What we need to realize is that in WWE, things are cyclical and there aren't always going to be good storylines available for top stars.

When you look at the scenario of WWE today, there are many top stars and Daniel Bryan has belonged to that list for a long time. There has been a bit of impatience with regards to Bryan and his WrestleMania plans, with nothing seemingly in place for him.

As a result, he's been in a few filler matches and that includes the latest episode, where he had another match with Heath Slater - with Drew Gulak at ringside. Gulak had told Bryan backstage that he had a PowerPoint Presentation to critique him and Bryan shut him up with a win over the former tag team champion.

We loved this because it was filler - but not in a bad way. This is how top stars need to be utilized when not involved in any active storyline.
