This was certainly a very strange episode of WWE SmackDown
#3 Best: Baron Corbin embarrasses Roman Reigns with dog food
Ad
In undoubtedly one of the worst conclusions in Smackdown history, Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin showered Roman Reigns with dog food while he was shackled to the ringpost. There's no competent way to defend this. #SmackDownpic.twitter.com/qHcqvHtMia
See, I think that the whole deal with Roman Reigns being covered in dog food to close out this week's episode of SmackDown achieved its purpose. It got the crowd on Roman Reigns' side and it has made the feud really personal as well, and I've posted my opinion in a separate article.
This personal nature of the feud will certainly lead to a very intense match at TLC, justifying the need for the stipulation. Roman Reigns and King Corbin always put on good matches and there's no reason this one won't be good.
But at the same time, one can't call this good 'creative' and justify the segment. I mean there were other ways and means to get here, in my personal opinion.
In any case, because I've already spoken about The Goddess, I will share Tom Colohue's podcast with Gary Cassidy at this point, talking about WWE TLC 2019.
