For WWE to lose Renee Young is one thing, but for them to lose both Renee Young and Sonya Deville on the same night is a really big blow indeed. This is technically not a 'worst' from a technical sense, but WWE SummerSlam 2020 saw two of the most gifted female performers in the company depart and one has to feel a tinge of sadness at that.
We knew it was coming but that doesn't make it easier.I expect Mandy Rose to move towards the #SmackDown women's championship now.Good match. Really good. Both women have such high ceilings.I really hope Sonya is okay. Please don't go.#WWE#Summerslam

One assumes that Renee Young will move to AEW following her WWE stint, but one wonders what the future holds for Sonya Deville following her defeat at WWE SummerSlam 2020 to Mandy Rose. Does it mean that Sonya Deville is taking time off to deal with the issues that she's had to deal with prior to WWE SummerSlam 2020 or she has left the company altogether.
