In an interview with Randy Orton leading up to WWE SummerSlam 2020, the Legend Killer mentioned that he has no chemistry with Bray Wyatt and honestly, such is not the case with Drew McIntyre at all. The two men told a solid story and the use of the Figure Four leg lock was a great nod to Ric Flair, who played an integral part in the story leading up to WWE SummerSlam 2020. Unfortunately, the end of the match was a bit of a disappointment and it left a lot to be desired.

One has to wonder whether it was the right call to have Randy Orton not win at WWE SummerSlam 2020 considering that he has all the momentum in the world right now and needed the big win. But all said and done, when it's done and dusted, this wasn't the worst thing in the world and comes down to what one's taste and expectations. For what it was, the WWE Championship match at WWE SummerSlam 2020 was an entertaining affair.
