"Seeing pageants on TV, I thought that it was something I could be really good at because I just love performing. I’m also pretty good in school, so I thought I would probably be able to answer the interview questions pretty well, too," she told Toronto.com in 2013.
Determined to fulfill her wish, Carelli applied to a few competitions. In 2013, she participated in the Miss Teen Canada and Miss Teen Ontario pageants. Despite having no experience in the field, Carelli came out as the winner at the Miss Teen Ontario event.
"I was totally shocked when I won Miss Teen Ontario and it was a really cool experience."
Bianca Carelli was crowned Miss Galaxy Peel 2021. Her profile on the pageant's website describes her as a young woman on a mission to break stereotypes. It says she wants to show others her ability to be a wrestler and embrace her femininity simultaneously.
