Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown is expected to be another major edition of the blue brand leading up to Crown Jewel 2024. The WWE Universe can anticipate significant developments heading toward the Saudi Arabia show, especially with Roman Reigns set to make an appearance.
There is also a strong possibility of a major confrontation between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins taking place on SmackDown next week. This confrontation could lead to the former Shield members reuniting again in the Stamford-based promotion. The reason for Seth's presence on SmackDown next week is that he is advertised for a dark match against Dominik Mysterio for the October 25, 2024, show.
The Visionary's presence on SmackDown next week will provide WWE with the opportunity to book a confrontation between him and Reigns. The Original Tribal Chief currently lacks allies on his side and, given their history as former Shield members and Rollins' status as a babyface, Roman Reigns could seek help from The Visionary to tackle Bloodline 2.0.

If Seth agrees, the WWE Universe could witness an unexpected reunion of the former Shield members in The Bloodline Saga. Ultimately, it depends on whether WWE will allow Seth to appear on television or just have him compete in the dark match.
Additionally, this isn't the first time Rollins has appeared on SmackDown to compete in a dark match without appearing on screen. This lowers the chances of the RAW star being featured on the blue brand next week despite being there for the off-air match against Dirty Dominik.
Are there chances of a semi-reunion of the Shield on WWE SmackDown?
If the above-cited scenario comes true, the question arises - will Seth Rollins agree to reunite with the OTC, and what are the chances of that happening?
Based on the recent storyline, particularly the Road to WrestleMania XL, earlier this year, it's hard to say that The Visionary would reunite with Roman Reigns in his war against Solo Sikoa.
At The Showcase of the Immortals, Rollins pulled out all the stops to ensure that The Head of the Table didn’t leave with the Undisputed WWE Title, which ultimately unfolded when Cody Rhodes dethroned Reigns.
Given the bad blood between the two, it’s highly unlikely that Rollins would be willing to assist one of his greatest rivals. Furthermore, Rollins is currently embroiled in a rivalry with Bronson Reed on RAW, making it unrealistic for him to be involved in The Bloodline saga as well.
