Although Flair was originally scheduled for a segment tonight at NXT Takeover 2: Fatal 4 Way, in which he was supposed to introduce KENTA to the WWE universe, PWInsider is reporting that Ric Flair will not be appearing on tonight’s show due to a personal scheduling conflict. There was also some speculation that he would be paired with KENTA in some fashion, probably as his manager.
With regards to recent NXT signings, there is speculation that we might see another debut on tonight’s show other than KENTA, which could mean a possible appearance by Fergal Devitt or Kevin Steen.
