Kevin Owens abandoned Team RAW early in the traditional men’s WWE Survivor Series tag team match. The Prizefighter walked backstage to get counted out to give Team SmackDown an advantage.

The advantage did not help The Blue Brand much as RAW still went on a roll. The match went well until the 15-minute mark when Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley decided to revive their dormant rivalry and fight their way all around the arena. Their actions got both superstars counted out.

Later on, during the women’s traditional tag team match, Sasha Banks was counted out when her team prevented her from entering the ring.

Why did WWE book three superstars to get counted out in such high-profile matches? Was there a need to protect Banks, Lashley, and McIntyre in such a way at Survivor Series?

Fans always want to watch the best action go down in the ring. However, getting top superstars counted out in such big matches is always a questionable decision of the higher-ups.
