And just like that, Seth Rollins has a title feud.

Did you know a top WWE Superstar just wrestled outside the company? More details HERE

At this time last year, Seth Rollins had defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship (albeit not in nearly as dominant fashion as Drew McIntyre did) and was riding high. Then he fell from the fans' graces, lost the Universal title, and fully embraced his own madness as a way of coping with it.

An angle of jealousy would be good here, though that remains to be seen. It would tie in well with his delusions about being the "Monday Night Messiah". It's the kind of personality that the hard-working, "chosen by destiny", Drew McIntyre would work well going against.

Either way, this should be a good title match for Money in the Bank, one that helps to fight the infamous "post-WrestleMania slump" in WWE, one which looks like it will be especially acute this year given the ongoing pandemic.

How Seth Rollins involves his faction in this will be the next step to explore. McIntyre vs. Murphy would be a good match, along with him against the Authors of Pain.
