The penultimate edition of WWE SmackDown before Money in the Bank Premium Live Event could be an eventful show. The event will host three Money in the Bank qualifying matches, which will feature some major names of the company. Furthermore, The Bloodline acknowledgment ceremony is also scheduled for Friday's show.

Aside from that, the upcoming show could have some big things up its sleeves. How will things transpire on WWE SmackDown this week? Here are four last-minute predictions for the upcoming edition of blue brand:

#4. Tiffany Stratton qualifies for the Money in the Bank on WWE SmackDown

Tiffany Stratton will lock horns with Jade Cargill and Candice LeRae in the Money in the Bank qualifying match on WWE SmackDown. Her rivals, Jade and Candice, could pose a stiff challenge in front of Tiffany.

However, the former NXT star will likely win the Triple Threat match, given she is one of the hot favorites to win this year's Money in the Bank.

Talking about Jade Cargill, WWE has booked her as a force to reckon with, and a clean loss could hurt her momentum big time. Thus, the creative team could protect the former AEW star by having Tiffany pin Candice to secure a win.

#3. Paul Heyman joins forces with Cody Rhodes

Things haven't turned out well for Paul Heyman in Roman Reigns' absence, as he has been held hostage by The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown. The Wiseman has been living in misery and constant fear, terrorized by Solo Sikoa and his henchmen.

The upcoming episode may see Solo kick Heyman out of the faction. The Enforcer could declare Paul useless before attacking him along with the rest of The Bloodline. This could lead to Cody Rhodes showing up to make the save.

The American Nightmare revealed in an earlier interview that he would have made the best Paul Heyman guy. Hence, The Wiseman could align himself with the Undisputed WWE Champion until Roman Reigns returns.

#2. Santos Escobar qualifies for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The only Men's Money in the Bank qualifying match announced for WWE SmackDown will see Santos Escobar collide with Logan Paul and LA Knight. However, this match could turn south very soon as potential interference from Legado Del Fantasma could be on the cards.

The heel stable could interfere in the match to help their leader, Santos Escobar, prevail over his rivals. The Luchador could secure a much-needed win and join Jey Uso, Andrade, Chad Gable, and Carmelo Hayes in the ladder match.

#1. The Rock returns

Solo Sikoa has been sitting at the Head of the Table in Roman Reigns' absence. However, in a shocking turn of events, he could quit as the leader of The Bloodline on Friday's SmackDown.

Rumor has it that The Rock could return during The Bloodline acknowledgment ceremony announced for Friday's show. If so, it could be revealed that The High Chief was the mastermind behind Solo's uprising on the blue brand.

Following The Rock's comeback, Solo could relinquish the leadership role, only for The Rock to replace him as the new Tribal Chief.
