Braun Strowman has been out of action since suffering an injury during the Last Monster Standing Match on the September 30 edition of WWE RAW. The former Universal Champion suffered a torn groin during the clash but was able to defeat Bronson Reed after Seth Rollins returned to interfere.

It has been rumored that Strowman could be returning to television tonight on SmackDown. The promotion recently introduced the Transfer Window, and it could allow the veteran to make the jump from RAW to SmackDown.

Listed below are four things Braun Strowman could do on tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown should he land up on the blue brand:

Braun Strowman could officially join the SmackDown roster tonight via the Transfer Window, and make a major announcement. He may share that he has decided to join Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline, as the faction has had to deal with injuries in recent weeks.

Bronson Reed teamed up with the faction ahead of Survivor Series but suffered a major injury during the Men's WarGames Match, and Tonga Loa is also out of action with a torn bicep. Strowman would be an impressive addition of muscle as The Bloodline looks to get back on track following their loss at Survivor Series.

#3. He could square off against Carmelo Hayes tonight

Braun Strowman could make his return to WWE television tonight on SmackDown as Carmelo Hayes' mystery opponent. It was reported earlier this week by Sportskeeda Wrestling's Dr. Chris Featherstone that Strowman would be returning to face Hayes tonight.

Hayes has been driving SmackDown GM Nick Aldis crazy in recent weeks, and the authority figure may have decided to book him against Strowman later tonight. The 30-year-old was selected by the blue brand in the first round of the WWE Draft 2024.

Despite some impressive outings, the former NXT Champion has not quite lived up to the hype so far, and Strowman could humble Hayes tonight on SmackDown.

#2. Braun Strowman could go after the United States Championship

Shinsuke Nakamura captured the United States Championship by defeating LA Knight at Survivor Series: WarGames last month. The Megastar and Andrade attempted to confront the new champion last week on SmackDown, but The Bloodline interfered in the segment.

Braun Strowman has never won the United States Championship during his career. The 41-year-old may have decided to make winning the title his goal during his injury hiatus and could use the Transfer Window to officially become a member of the SmackDown roster.

#1. Strowman could ambush Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion and will be defending the title against Kevin Owens tomorrow at Saturday Night's Main Event. The American Nightmare is out for revenge on Owens due to his brutal attack on Randy Orton last month on SmackDown.

Kevin Owens may have reached out to Braun Strowman recently and formed an alliance with the former Universal Champion. Strowman could appear during tonight's episode of SmackDown and attack Rhodes, to weaken the 39-year-old ahead of his title defense against The Prizefighter tomorrow at WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event.
