Boa (birth name: Yanbo Wang) was born on 21 June 1995 in Beijing, China. The Chinese expert grappler is endorsed by WWE and performing on the NXT brand. Wang endorsed WWE in September 2016 after going to a tryout in Shanghai, China. He appeared at the WWE Performance Center alongside three other Chinese grapplers in February 2017. After marking with WWE, Wang was known as "Big Boa".

Professional Wrestling Career
During a NXT live occasion, Boa collaborated with No Way Jose and beat Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake in the year 2017. Therefore, he proceeded to wrestle on a few NXT live occasions. Boa's broadcasted debut in NXT occurred in 2019 when he contended in the NXT Breakout Competition where the champion would get a chance to challenge for any NXT title. He returned in the ring on the June 29 episode of NXT and teamed up with Li to beat Mercedes Martinez and Jake Atlas in a mixed tag team match. On the August 10 episode of NXT, Boa beat Drake Maverick after he was dazed by Mei Ying's mist. After fourteen days, he experienced a defeat against the debut star Xyon Quinn. Boa showed up on the September 17 episode of 205 Live and defeated Malik Blade.
In November, Boa was bedeviled by the soul of Tian Sha and acquired its powers. He went into a quarrel with Solo Sikoa after attacking and choking him behind the stage on the December 28 episode of NXT. On January 11, 2022, episode of NXT, Boa, and Sikoa battled to a two-countout and kept on fighting backstage. That brings about Boa's alter-ego sending off a fireball right in front of Sikoa. This prompted a No Disqualification Falls Count Anywhere match on the January 25 episode of NXT, where Boa lost after Sikoa sprinkled him through a table. On the April 7, 2023, episode of NXT Level Up, Boa made his return with a defeat against Dante Chen.
