The controversial Lana-Lashley-Rusev storyline kicked off on the season premiere episode of Monday Night RAW several weeks ago. Despite fan backlash on social media, the storyline is still going on, and a major reason for the same is that the angle is garnering huge numbers on all of WWE's social media platforms.
Rusev has been feuding with Lashley for a while now, and the two are finally going to fight it out at WWE Starrcade. This past week on WWE RAW, Lashley faced Titus O'Neil in a match that didn't reach its end, courtesy Rusev's interference. The Bulgarian Brute laid a brutal beatdown on Lashley, and was arrested as a result. These two men are going to settle their score in a Last Man Standing match this Sunday.
Bobby Lashly responded to WWE's tweet promoting the match, and took a shot at Rusev's mustache.
Yo @WWE...I only see one man in this picture...and it’s not the one with the caterpillar on his lip...Since I’m the only one qualified in this match, I’ll be the #LastManStanding at #WWEStarrcade. Then @LanaWWE and I can celebrate like only we know how 😏. https://t.co/C7FEVgQuje

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
