Will Roode become WWE’s “It Factor” ?

The NXT Takeover: Dallas had several high points to note. Among Nakumura vs Zayn’s awesome match and Balor’s Bullet Club teaser, the most noted highlight of the event was former TNA World Heawyweight Champion Booby Roode’s surprising appearance at the event.

Ever since that apperance, the WWE universe is going crazy with rumours regarding his signing with WWE. Roode has also upped the ante by tweeting to stay tuned to get more updates. While the entire WWE universe is going crazy with the speculations on his debut, WWE has remained strangely quiet about this event.

In his recent interview with The Examiner, Bobby Roode has provided an update of sorts by clearing the mystery surrounding his signing with WWE. Bobby Roode has noted in the interview that he has not signed with WWE (yet!) but is very close to do so.

“I’m not officially signed yet,” said Roode. “The Internet has blown up over it, and I mean I’m close, but I don’t want to spoil anything or ruin anything. I want to wait until it’s official. I don’t want to jinx anything either.”

Bobby Roode left TNA after wrestleing for the promotion for 12 long years. During his tenure with TNA, he has been TNA World Heavyweight Champion twice and has also conquered the tag team title 5 times. Roode is also the longest reigning champion in TNA. With WWE signing Samoa Joe and Austin Aries recently it is only a matter of time before Roode also signs with WWE.

Fans all over the world has gone crazy with his apperance at a WWE event. Rumour mills have been churning out speculations regardong his impending debut in WWE. Though Roode has not confirmed the signing, he has stated that he is close and also very eager to get to WWE. Will Roode become the WWE’s new ‘It Factor’?
