Braun Strowman hasn't been on WWE TV since the September 30, 2024, edition of WWE RAW. He suffered a torn groin and had to take time off to recover properly. However, The Monster Among Men seems to be preparing for a return.

Strowman's last match on WWE TV before taking a break was against Bronson Reed in a 'Last Monster Standing' match. Braun won after Seth Rollins helped him defeat the former NXT North American Champion. Currently, The Visionary is booked against Reed for Crown Jewel 2024. Ideally, Strowman would have preferred to establish his dominance over Reed by himself.

Braun didn't ask for Rollins' help. The Visionary got involved to avenge himself against Reed for the brutal attack on RAW. At Crown Jewel, The Monster of All Monsters can return to WWE TV during Rollins vs. Reed, but instead of helping the former World Heavyweight Champion, Strowman can help the 330-pound superstar.

Additionally, Strowman took a jab at Seth Rollins after the latest WWE RAW episode. Bronson Reed attacked The Visionary, and The Monster Among Men added insult to injury by claiming he defeated Reed with a torn groin!

Triple H might have a better creative direction for Strowman if he turns heel ahead of WWE RAW's move to Netflix. Furthermore, it opens up the avenue for a triple-threat match between Reed, Strowman, and Rollins.

Former WWE writer on why Braun Strowman is held back in WWE

Braun Strowman might be a monster with the potential to become a top star, but he doesn't always receive the push necessary to climb the ladder.

Former WWE writer Vince Russo gave an interesting explanation while speaking to Dr. Chris Featherstone on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo about Braun Strowman's general lack of development.

"Triple H is an East Coast guy. Vince was an East Coast guy. I'm an East Coast guy. Bro, I gotta tell you, from day one, and I think this has been a big part of the problem, please correct me if I'm wrong, Chris, I know you have no problem doing that. The perception I've always had of Braun Strowman is, yes, bro, he's big, he's bad, he's intimidating, he's a monster, he's whatever they call him. S.O.B. He's One Big S.O.B. You know what else he is, bro? He's a good old [country] boy. I'm telling you, bro, that is what it is [why Strowman is held back]."

With Strowman preparing for a return, it remains to be seen what Triple H and WWE have in store for the titan and whether he will receive the push he deserves.
