The go-home show of SmackDown before WWE Survivor Series was set to feature an in-ring confrontation between Daniel Bryan and the WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt. However, Bray Wyatt didn't show up and it was The Fiend who made his presence felt on the Blue brand. He interrupted the match between Daniel Bryan and The Miz and eventually took out his Survivor Series opponent with the Mandible Claw.

The fans didn't get to hear from the WWE Univeral Champion on tonight's SmackDown but following the episode, Bray Wyatt took to Twitter to comment on the situation. He just tweeted the word "Yes", thereby continuing the mind games with Daniel Bryan heading to this Sunday's pay-per-view.

Daniel Bryan became a victim of The Fiend for the first time during a backstage conversation with Sami Zayn. The following week on SmackDown, he sought to get some answers from Bray Wyatt and it ultimately resulted in the WWE Universal Champion challenging him for a match at Survivor Series.
