A sudden backstage assault, followed by Bray Wyatt calling out Daniel Bryan on SmackDown led to their Survivor Series clash for the WWE Universal Championship. The Fiend defeated the former WWE Champion at the Pay-Per-View but it appeared that a clash with Daniel Bryan affected him both physically and mentally as well.
This week on RAW, the WWE Universal Champion announced that a new face would be added to the Firefly Fun House on SmackDown. However, Bray Wyatt introduced a new version of the Universal Title for The Fiend instead and laid out another challenge to Daniel Bryan. He accepted the offer but soon after The Fiend took out Daniel Bryan. The concluding moments of the episode showcased The Fiend ripping off the hair of The Submission Specialist.

Although The Miz suggested him to not fall into the trap of Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan accepted the proposal for another match against The Fiend. This week's SmackDown showcased Bryan reigniting the Yes Movement to fight off the WWE Universal Champion and the match is set to take place very soon.
It was pointed out on SmackDown how the personalities of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins took a turn when they collided with The Fiend. Following his face off with the Universal Champion on the latest episode, it remains to be seen if Daniel Bryan becomes the next Superstar to join this list.
