Brock Edward Lesnar, most popularly known as Brock Lesnar, is an American professional wrestler, amateur wrestler, and a former mixed martial artist. He is easily one of the most recognizable names among combat sports fans, having worked and won world championships in both WWE and UFC.

Brock Lesnar was born in Webster, South Dakota, on July 12, 1977, and is currently 47 years old as of 2024.

Brock Lesnar joined the Army National Guard at the age of 17 and served for a short duration. He practiced amateur wrestling and won the 2000 NCAA Division I Heavyweight Championship, with a record of 106-5 in his four years of college. Lesnar made his professional wrestling debut in 2000 at the age of 23 in WWE’s own developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling. He made his WWF Television debut two years later with Paul Heyman during the Hardcore Championship match by attacking all the participants of the match.

Later, Paul gave Lesnar the nickname "The Next Big Thing" in WWE. The Beast Incarnate won the WWE Undisputed Championship the same year and became one of the fastest wrestlers to win the World Champion. Lesnar left WWE in 2004 at the age of 27 to pursue his dream to play in the National Football League (NFL). Brock made his Mixed Martial Arts debut in 2007 at the age of 30 and moved to UFC the following year. Lesnar won the UFC Heavyweight Championship at the age of 31, the same year as his UFC debut. After fighting for three years in MMA, Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012, and it made a huge impact on the company, which took the promotion to a whole new level.

Lesnar gained major success after his first return and has always been on the higher profile matches surrounded by gold. After a long eight-year run till 2020, Lesnar took a year off from wrestling and returned in 2021 at the age of 44.
