In 1985, Vince McMahon purchased the Titan Towers and it became WWE's headquarters till 2023. However, after the promotion was purchased by Endeavor Group Inc. and merged with UFC under the TKO Umbrella, World Wrestling Entertainment's HQ shifted to 707 Washington Blvd Stamford, Connecticut.

While reports suggested the Titan Towers would be TKO Group's headquarters, these did not turn out to be true as the organization found its HQ in New York. Recently, it was revealed that WWE wanted to sell the Titan Towers with the price listed as "subject to offer."

If and when the sale goes through, it will bring an end to a lot of WWE memories that took place at the Titan Towers. In this article, we will look at four such memorable moments that took place in the iconic building:

#4. The opening of RAW in mid-1990s took place at the Titan Towers

In the mid-1990s, the opening sequence of RAW featured superstars like Razor Ramon, The Undertaker, and Yokozuna. This was shot on September 7, 1995, on the rooftop of the Titan Towers. The production of this segment required a lot of effort.

The promotion also had helicopters to shoot the sequence, and when the final product came out, it was considered to be one of RAW's most iconic openings. The Stamford-based promotion would once again use the rooftop for something bigger, which we will explore further in the article.

#3. DX tagging their logo

In 2006, the WWE Universe witnessed the reunion of Triple H and Shawn Michaels, D-Generation X. While the duo had many iconic moments in their run together, one of the most remembered moments is their rivalry with then-WWE boss, Vince McMahon.

During D-Generation X's rivalry with Mr. McMahon, they got under the latter's skin by damaging his private jet. However, one of the most iconic moments of this feud came when they tagged the DX logo on the Titan Towers. This act by The Game and The Heartbreak Kid is still remembered by many.

#2. Brock Lesnar destroying Triple H's office

Between 2012 and 2013, Brock Lesnar and Triple H went to war. The duo had iconic matches at SummerSlam and WrestleMania, with both winning a bout each. This called for a rubber match between the two, which took place at Extreme Rules.

While the Steel Cage Match won by Lesnar was good, what was even more interesting was the run-up to the bout. In the build-up, The Beast Incarnate was seen invading the Titan Towers, particularly Triple H's office, to destroy everything in sight.

#1. Money in the Bank 2020

As mentioned in #4. above, WWE would use the rooftop of the Titan Towers for something bigger, and that was the 2020 Money in the Bank PLE. To be fair, the promotion did not just use the rooftop, but the entire building. The rules of this MITB Ladder Match were like no other.

The men and women participating had to start from the ground floor, and eventually make their way to the rooftop where there was a ring, with two briefcases. The man and woman who successfully climbed the ladder and retrieved the MITB briefcase would win the Money in the Bank contract.

Naturally, since the superstars had to start from the ground floor, fans got to witness some great action between the men and women. They fought in the gym, conference room, and several other locations within the property. While the men's contract was won by Otis, Asuka won the women's contract.
