Brock Lesnar could leave WWE for UFC next year

Speculations are rife that WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar may leave the WWE for the second time to return to UFC to pursue his MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) career for the last time.

Lesnar last appeared in an octagon in Decemeber 2011 and he could make a return once his WWE contract expires after Wrestlemania 31.

Former WWE announcer Jim Ross presented his views on Brock Lesnar

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"It looks to me like he's gotten back on track. He looks phenomenal strength-wise. He's just scary looking. He's more scary looking than he was before he left [WWE the first time]. I could identify with that diverticulitis and diverticulosis. It's not something you heal from very quickly. Your body has to make major adjustments. I see no reason he couldn't have the potential to return to the UFC and sell pay-per-views."

He also said there is confusion within the WWE creative about The Beast Incarnate’s future role as there appears to be no consensus over whether they want to keep him.

“Creatively from a strategic standpoint, WWE will need to find out sooner rather than later if Brock is interested in re-signing or not.”

He says that Lesnar was not fully healthy and destroyed the MMA competition. It would be scary to see what he does in 100% health.

“If Brock Lesnar ever fought healthy in the UFC, I don’t see any fighter that could have touched him. Anything you saw him do, he did as an unhealthy man competing at the very top level on the face of the planet. Imagine what he could have done if he was 100-percent healthy.”

Brock Lesnar was suffering from a intestinal disease known as diverticulitis, and had to have a foot of his colon removed throughout his UFC career.

The 37-year-old has 5-3 record in UFC losing his last two fights to KO to opponents Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem.
