It has been 14 months since Brock Lesnar last competed in WWE, when he faced Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam on August 5, 2023. Due to supposed legal issues, though, WWE has pulled him from RAW, SmackDown, and premium live events and it is unclear when he will show up again in the Stamford-based promotion.
Triple H and the creative team have hinted at Lesnar's comeback once he is cleared by the legal team to return to WWE. But, when could this happen? As there is no official timetable, it could be possible that The Beast Incarnate might even come back at Crown Jewel three weeks from now, and could interfere in the Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther Crown Jewel Championship Match.
Brock Lesnar could make a surprise appearance and target the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, distracting him and allowing Cody Rhodes to claim the victory and the title.
On that occasion, the scenario could set the stage for a title match for Brock at Survivor Series against Gunther, with many WWE fans considering it a dream match. Meanwhile, it would also allow CM Punk to take a few more weeks off to rest and recover from his brutal Hell in a Cell match.

The Best in the World is expected to be the next in line for the World Heavyweight Championship and if Brock Lesnar is back, CM Punk could return at Survivor Series and start a feud with The Ring General following the title match.
The Undertaker wants to see Brock Lesnar face Gunther
A Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther match has been on the cards for WWE since the latter moved to the main roster, but it has yet to happen. Aside from fans, WWE legend, The Undertaker, too wants to see the two megastars collide and explained how the reigning World Heavyweight Champion would benefit from that.
"It would propel Gunther to another level. To work a program with Brock. To the heights that I think Brock could bring him to would make him untouchable. Because he already has his own style. He has his own pace and everything else. But to work with somebody... A beast like Brock would push him to levels that I'm not sure there's anybody on the roster right now, that does that," The Undertaker said in his podcast, Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway (49:12-49:50).
Getting closer to the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, WWE could provide an update on Lesnar's status and whether the legal team might clear him to return, but still an appearance at Crown Jewel would come as a surprise to the WWE Universe.
