Brock Lesnar to return after 462 days to save arch-rival on WWE SmackDown? Exploring the possibility

Brock Lesnar could shake things up on WWE SmackDown
Brock Lesnar could shake things up on WWE SmackDown!

One of the most feared names in the ring, Brock Lesnar, has been away from WWE SmackDown television for far too long. He could add a gigantic twist to an ongoing storyline if he is cleared for a comeback.

Ever since Brock Lesnar's loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, things have only gone downhill for his fan base. He took a hiatus, and his name was later brought up amongst controversial allegations related to Vince McMahon. Considering his name is back on the roster on the promotion's official website, there may be a possibility of his return sooner than most anticipate. If the stars align, he could return on tonight's WWE SmackDown.

The company's premier act, "The Bloodine Saga," recent underwent a major twist as Sami Zayn cost Roman Reigns his match at Crown Jewel. The Original Tribal Chief is still short on man power to beat Solo Sikoa, The Tongans, and Jacob Fatu. Considering the heels may soon have The Rock by their side, Roman Reigns could use the help of his arch nemesis.

If fans are lucky enough, he could return and help Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa and his goons on WWE SmackDown. This will turn the tides in favor of the babyface side until The Rock potentially returns at Survivor Series: WarGames.

This is just a wild speculation for now, and nothing is confirmed. Tonight's episode will still potentially include Sami Zayn getting back with the Original Bloodline, so entertainment is assured.

Who else could Brock Lesnar feud with on WWE SmackDown?

While going up against The Bloodline will be a great option, The Beast will not have a problem finding another rival on the blue brand.

First and most interesting choice could be Cody Rhodes in case the company plans to bring in a serious threat to the WWE Undisputed Champion. Another top babyface is Randy Orton, who could certainly revisit his feud with Brock Lesnar and deliver a great storyline.

In case a babyface comeack is in plans, The Conqueror could feud with Logan Paul, who has consistently put on noteworthy performances. A feud with Kevin Owens leading to a match at a big event is also something fans would like to see. A singles rivalry with Jacob Fatu will also be must-see television. Lots of possibilities as fans await the return of the former Universal Champion.
