Brock Lesnar last appeared on WWE programming at SummerSlam 2023, where he suffered a loss against Cody Rhodes. After the match ended, fans saw The Beast Incarnate break character in a passing-the-torch moment, raising The American Nightmare's hand in the ring. With every passing moment, the anticipation for the comeback of The Beast Incarnate reaches a new peak. On Monday Night RAW, a subtle reference was made that has fans speculating about Lesnar's potential comeback.
During a backstage segment, General Manager Adam Pearce suggested Seth Rollins make a wise decision about facing Bronson Reed and even cautioned him about multiple injuries he had suffered in the past. Rollins then reminded Pearce why he was at the top of his game. The Visionary said he had slayed The Beast Incarnate, referring to his win over Lesnar, and now it was time for the 36-year-old star. However, the subtle nod about Brock does not confirm his return to the Stamford-based company.
There is a strong possibility that The Beast Incarnate could return as a backup for former Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley. Mami needs someone to have her back while she is engaged in a heated rivalry with Liv Morgan and the rest of The Judgment Day. Even though Rhea could take care of Raquel Rodriguez and Morgan, she indeed needs someone to take out former NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio. Brock Lesnar could be an ideal partner in that case.
According to reports, WWE planned to have a match between Dirty Dom and Brock at Elimination Chamber: Perth. However, the Stamford-based company can pull the trigger on this bout now.
Eric Bischoff questions if Brock Lesnar actually wants to return to WWE
Wrestling veteran Eric Bischoff recently expressed his thoughts on Brock Lesnar's hiatus and if the latter even wanted to step foot inside the squared circle. While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff said that The Beast Incarnate has already made a lot of money through his accomplished career and other business ventures and might not have the desire to come back:
"No way to know, man. Brock's unique. Brock's got enough money he could live the next three lives... His kids will never be able to spend the money that Brock has made, and beyond the money, Brock has farming. That's his joy, that's his passion, that's where Brock is at peace based on what I've heard. I don't know Brock that well, and man, I don't know; he doesn't need to, so it's a question of does he want to, and at some point, you just don't want to anymore. What's Brock gonna do that he hasn't done a dozen times in the last dozen years?"
It remains to be seen when Brock Lesnar will return to WWE and what plans Triple H has for him upon his comeback.
