There are times when WWE Superstars simply cannot get along and refuse to work together. Sami Zayn approached Seth Rollins during last night's episode of WWE RAW and asked him to compete alongside himself, Roman Reigns, and The Usos in the WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series at the end of the month.

The Visionary vehemently declined Zayn's offer and claimed that he would never team up with Roman Reigns again for the rest of his career. The two stars were once a part of The Shield together but have grown apart over the years.

Listed below are five WWE stars who refused to work with each other.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose had a rivalry close to a decade ago in WWE. They battled in a No Holds Barred Match at WrestleMania 32, and The Beast Incarnate emerged victorious.

Ambrose appeared on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast several years ago and claimed that Lesnar was lazy during their rivalry. Ambrose also claimed that Lesnar thought he was doing him a favor by having the match and didn't seem interested in their clash at WrestleMania 32.

#4. Brock Lesnar and Jinder Mahal didn't compete at Survivor Series 2017

Jinder Mahal shocked the wrestling world by defeating Randy Orton at Backlash 2017 to become the WWE Champion. Mahal looked poised for a match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series but wound up dropping the title to AJ Styles before the premium live event.

Mahal revealed that he did not know he would be losing the title to Styles until the day of the show and was looking forward to a match against Lesnar. AJ Styles gave Brock Lesnar everything he had at Survivor Series 2017, but it was not enough to defeat the former Universal Champion.

#3. Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle did not get along

The rivalry between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle became deeply personal in 2022. The former World Heavyweight Champion referenced The Original Bro's divorce, and Riddle got visibly angry during the segment on the August 29 edition of RAW.

Riddle's time in the company came to an unfortunate end in September 2023. The former RK-Bro star was released from the promotion following an odd incident at JFK Airport in New York last year.

#2. AJ Styles had issues with Paul Heyman

AJ Styles is currently out of action with an injury and has not competed since the October 4 episode of WWE SmackDown. The Phenomenal One was formerly in a faction with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson known as The OC. Gallows and Anderson were released by the company in 2020 but returned to the promotion in 2022.

There were rumors that Styles was upset with Paul Heyman because he did not stand up for The Good Brothers ahead of their release. Styles denied those rumors in 2020 but did claim that Paul Heyman was a "bold-faced liar."

#1. Brock Lesnar and Matt Riddle have an interesting history

Matt Riddle has claimed in the past that he was supposed to win the Men's Royal Rumble in 2022, but the victory was given to Brock Lesnar instead. The former United States Champion has addressed the rumors and claimed that Lesnar wanted to win the match after dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Bobby Lashley.

Matt Riddle made it known early in his career that he wanted to compete against Brock Lesnar. The two stars shared the ring at Elimination Chamber 2022 and in two Men's Royal Rumble matches but never battled each other in a singles bout.
