Bryan pulled out by the WWE from the road, sent home

Daniel Bryan removed from the ongoing WWE tour of Europe

In a major, but not shocking development, WWE Intercontinental champion Daniel Bryan has been sent home by the WWE and he will not be participating in the rest of the European tour. The move is said to have been taken likely due to the ongoing health issues of Bryan.

The decision was made by the WWE officials after he competed on Tuesday night for the SmackDown tapings, where he teamed up with John Cena. WWE issued the following statement:

Daniel Bryan has been pulled from the remainder of the UK tour as a precautionary measure.”

Since then more news has emerged with regards to a planned WWE match between Daniel Bryan and John Cena on last RAW getting changed, given Bryan’s state of health. Bryan has seemingly worked very little on this tour and there have been concerns relating to his in-ring style which hasn’t been altered even after Bryan returned from a near career-ending neck injury.
