Carlito to quit The Judgment Day and join forces with former WWE United States Champion? Analyzing the chances

Carlito is the only member of The Judgment Day who has no direction at the moment. Finn Balor is the faction's leader and is one-half of the World Tag Team Champions alongside JD McDonagh. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan is the reigning Women's World Champion, and Dominik Mysterio is part of Liv's rivalry with Rhea Ripley. In between, Raquel Rodriguez returned at Bad Blood and reunited with Morgan, joining The Judgment Day.

Thus, the WWE veteran appears irrelevant at the moment, and quitting The Judgment Day is a realistic scenario. On that occasion, the question is if Finn Balor and other members will kick him out or if he will have a face turn and turn on the group.

After an unsuccessful stint, the veteran wrestler could seek revenge and reunite with a former United States Champion, who also has unfinished business with the faction. This superstar is Damian Priest, who defeated Finn Balor at Bad Blood but made it clear that his feud with The Judgment Day is not over.

The star could refer to his Puerto Rican ties and align with The Punisher, aiming for revenge. If WWE goes that direction, Priest and Carlito could go for the World Tag Team titles and dethrone the current champions, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, completing their revenge.

WWE reportedly plans a singles run for Carlito

Aside from speculation about Carlito's future in the Stamford-based promotion, a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass suggested that the WWE creative team has plans for him to return to singles competition and get a push.

"A couple of more nuggets that we can touch on is we are hearing discussions to potentially remove Carlito from the Judgment Day and get him back into a singles competitor, possibly a singles push….There’s no timetable. We haven’t heard much. I’d expect by the end of the year, maybe a singles run in the fold, but we do know that those plans have been discussed to separate him from the Judgment Day." That said, a face turn and a singles run could be the perfect option for the veteran wrestler, who currently has no direction in The Judgment Day.
