When Cesaro takes on Roman Reigns and his bunch of cronies, he is going to need some backup. This backup is likely to come in the form of Shinsuke Nakamura, who has been portrayed as his on-screen friend. Quite a lot of effort has gone into rebuilding Shinsuke Nakamura recently and a feud of this nature will give him more on-screen time, going forward.

Many cite Shinsuke Nakamura as the perfect example of someone who's been booked incorrectly throughout his WWE tenure. A feud with Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jey Uso, and possibly Seth Rollins is a major way to elevate him to the next level. If he is portrayed as Cesaro's ally, the possibilities are truly limitless.
There are so many underutilized talents in the WWE SmackDown mid-card, many of whom could have used this opportunity to ascend to the next level. Plus, there is yet another key ingredient that comes along with Roman Reigns. We will discuss him in the final point.
