Chad Gable to betray Otis in favor of 330lb WWE star on RAW? Blockbuster debut of new faction explored

At WWE Clash at the Castle, Chad Gable lost his chance to win the Intercontinental Championship as he suffered defeat at the hands of Sami Zayn. While losing is not a crime, this defeat will sting Gable badly, given it was his fifth attempt at capturing the Intercontinental title.

Also, seeing Otis as a heel isn't something WWE fans would digest well. Hence, it would be in Gable's best interest to replace Otis with a heel like Reed, who can help Gable in his vicious way.

Triple H said he wants Chad Gable to stay in WWE forever

Over the last few days, Chad Gable's expiring contract was one of the most talked about things in WWE. However, before Clash at the Castle, Gable mentioned he re-signed with the company. But simply re-signing did not mean that The Alpha Academy member was going to beat Sami Zayn.

In the press conference after Clash at the Castle, WWE CCO Triple H was told that Gable believed his career trajectory had changed under The Game. Listening to this, Triple H said that Gable is an amazing performer and that he would like to see him stay in WWE forever.

Triple H said:

"The truth is, he's an amazing performer and I would like for him to be here forever and be seen by the most people, leave here as healthy as possible. The environment has changed, and he is part of the change, so I would have been sad if he was here all this time and went elsewhere."

Even though Chad Gable lost at Clash at the Castle, receiving such praise from the boss is indeed a big deal. This praise could also indicate that Gable might receive a big push at some point in the future.
