WWE Superstar Chad Gable has secured his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match and will be one of the favorites heading into the match this week. The star's participation in the qualifier was initially in doubt after it seemed he was targeted by the Wyatt Sicks on their debut appearance on WWE RAW.

Last week, Otis and the rest of Alpha Academy asserted that they no longer wanted to be associated with Gable after what he had put them through over the past few months. However, there is a possibility that Gable will have the last laugh and attack Otis on the upcoming episode of RAW.

Over the past few weeks, it has been observed that The Creed Brothers have been talking with Chad Gable. The former Olympian could recruit the Creeds into The Alpha Academy and decide to ditch Otis once and for all by launching an attack on him.

This move would effectively generate more heat with the fans and establish Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers as a formidable trio. Gable may very well need the back up, seeing as he is probably in the crosshairs of the Wyatt Sicks.

Former WWE manager claims Vince McMahon was holding back Chad Gable

Chad Gable is doing some of the best work of his career right now, having stellar feuds and matches with the likes of Gunther and Sami Zayn over the past year.

During a recent podcast, Jim Cornette acknowledged how WWE has been pushing Gable as a serious competitor of late. He claimed that former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was holding Gable back by presenting him in a goofy manner.

"They're pushing Gable strongly again as a former Olympian instead of Shoosh Boy. I'm pretty sure this Alpha Academy will either go away or undergo a massive overhaul. Can we assume that it was just Vince (McMahon) all along that was preventing us from seeing Gable as a talent and he was being presented as a joke? It has to be," Jim Cornette said.
