Chad Gable, originally named Charles Edward Betts, is a professional wrestler from Saint Michael, Minnesota, United States. Born on March 8, 1986, he is the son of Pete and Pam Betts. He is married to Kristi Oliver and they have three children together. Before transitioning to professional wrestling, he competed in amateur wrestling and won medals at events such as the World University Games, Pan-American Championships, Granma Cup, Gedza International, and the Dave Schultz Memorial International tournament.
In November 2013, Gable signed a multi-year contract with WWE and debuted on the NXT brand. He formed American Alpha with Jason Jordan and clinched the NXT Tag Team Championship and the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Upon American Alpha's disbandment in mid-2017, he teamed with Bobby Roode and captured the Raw Tag Team Championship. In January 2022, he grabbed the Raw Tag Team Championship again with Otis as part of Alpha Academy. He later left the faction and became the leader of the wrestling stable American Made comprising Brutus Creed, Julius Creed, and Ivy Nile. As of February 2025, Gable and his stablemates compete on WWE's Raw brand.
