On the December 8th edition of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair wrestled in a singles match against Asuka. However, the match did not end in ideal fashion for Flair as she suffered through a torn ACL, MCL, and Meniscus which has kept her away from action since.
However, as per reports, The Queen has now been cleared to return to the ring. There are speculations that Charlotte could be part of the upcoming episode of SmackDown, which is also the show's season premiere. If true, it will be interesting to see what Flair does when she returns.
In this article, we will look at three things Charlotte Flair can do if she returns on SmackDown's season premiere this week:
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
#3. Charlotte Flair can wrestle in a squash match
One of the most admired facts about Charlotte Flair is her ability inside the ring. That is one of the key reasons why she has managed to become a 14-time World Champion in WWE. Given Flair hasn't wrestled since December last year, she could treat fans to some action by wrestling in a squash match on SmackDown.
On the blue brand, The Queen could face someone like Chelsea Green and register a quick yet dominant victory. This would not only cement Flair as a strong contender, but by doing this she will announce her return to the brand firmly.
#2. Cut a promo
Another thing Charlotte Flair can do upon her return on SmackDown is cut a promo. Since December 8th, 2023, the WWE Universe has not heard from Flair apart from her regular posts on social media. Hence, it would be good to hear what she says after returning.
In her promo, Charlotte could speak about her injury, recovery, and what the period taught her. She could also address the fans, and outline her vision as to what she wants to achieve on SmackDown. It will be interesting to see what Flair aspires to do after already having such an accomplished career.
#1. Go after Nia Jax
As mentioned above, Charlotte Flair is a 14-time World Champion. This means Flair is behind her father Ric Flair, and John Cena who are tied at 16 World Championships each. If Flair wants to break the record, then it's obvious that she will have to go after the champion.
Therefore, if she returns to SmackDown's upcoming episode, Flair could go after Nia Jax and challenge her for the WWE Women's Championship. If Flair challenges Jax, she will also have to deal with her friend Tiffany Stratton, and this would be an interesting program to see.
