WWE has several big stars seemingly set to return to television in 2025. The likes of Alexa Bliss, Ilja Dragunov, Bronson Reed, Asuka, AJ Styles, Tonga Loa, and Carmella are some of the names who have been away and hopefully will find their way back to the ring soon.
Perhaps the biggest name currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment, who is seemingly returning soon, is Charlotte Flair. The Queen was injured in December of 2023 and ended up missing the entirety of 2024. While many hoped her leg injury would heal quickly, she is yet to show up.
While 2024 was a great year, The Queen's absence was certainly felt. Flair is one of the biggest stars in women's division and her presence only improves an already strong roster of talented performers.
With 2024 now behind her and Charlotte's return coming soon, what will she do upon coming back after more than a year away? This article will take a look at four possible directions for The Queen when she returns to WWE television in 2025:
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
#4. Charlotte Flair could be revealed as Jade Cargill's attacker
Jade Cargill is one of WWE's top female stars despite only joining the company in the latter half of 2023. She officially made her in-ring debut in January of 2024 and is now a multi-time Tag Team Champion.
Unfortunately, Jade hasn't been seen in weeks. The WWE Women's Tag Team Champion was found brutally assaulted backstage in the parking area on SmackDown. She was battered and bloodied on top of a car, beat down at the hands of a mystery attacker.
With no clear indicator as to who is to blame, it could be revealed that Charlotte Flair took The Storm out. The Queen could show up and admit to it, saying there was far too much hype around Jade and she wouldn't let the former AEW star replace her as the company's powerful female star.
#3. She could be Nia Jax's next challenger
Nia Jax is a top champion in World Wrestling Entertainment. After winning the Queen of the Ring Tournament, Jax went on to dethrone Bayley of the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam. Many months later, she still holds the gold.
The Queen of the Ring has a big match ahead of her on WWE Friday Night SmackDown this week. On the first-ever three-hour edition of the blue brand, Nia will put her prized belt on the line against Naomi.
Supposing Jax wins, she could be in for a surprise post-match. After defeating Naomi, Charlotte could make her television return. Fans would explode upon hearing Flair's music and the two powerful women going face-to-face, ultimately leading to Charlotte and Nia clashing over the gold, could make for a great moment.
#2. Charlotte could win the 2025 WWE Women's Royal Rumble Match
WWE doesn't have a premium live event for the month of January. Thankfully, the beginning of February is a different story. On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, the Sports Entertainment juggernaut will host the Royal Rumble live in Indianapolis.
As is common with the PLE, there will be two Royal Rumble Matches. The men's division will have a 30-man bout and the women's division will also have a 30-woman match. The winners of each match will go on to challenge for a WWE World Title at WrestleMania.
Charlotte's return to television could come in the Women's Royal Rumble Match. Not only might she participate in the bout, but Charlotte may win the entire thing. From there, she could battle a World Champion from RAW or SmackDown in April.
#1. She could crash Becky Lynch's return and attempt to one-up her
While there are numerous injured or otherwise absent stars allegedly returning to WWE in 2025, a supposed unsigned Becky Lynch could also be making her return soon. Her contract allegedly expired last year, but The Man has been seen in marketing for Netflix.
Many fans believe Big Time Becks will return to WWE on RAW's Netflix Premiere on January 6th, 2025. Fans will be hyped to see the former World Champion, but Becky Lynch's moment could be ruined.
Similar to the returns of The Undertaker and Triple H in 2011, Becky's comeback could be immediately interrupted by Charlotte Flair. From there, the two could have a big-time clash, perhaps at Elimination Chamber in Canada, over The Queen ruining The Man's return.
