WWE Superstar Kevin Owens is another man who has a few friends in AEW, like Adam Cole, Cody Rhodes, and Matt Hardy. However, The Young Bucks are two wrestlers who are very close to the former WWE Universal Champion.

Nick and Matt Jackson have known KO for some time, and the three men worked together on a different promotion before. The former AEW Tag Team Champions spoke highly of Owens during an interview with Fightful, saying they still love to talk to him and glowing over the history they have with him.

“He was one of the guys who took us under his wing in the early days. He saw something special in us and I think he knew we were going to be a part of the new crop of the top indie guys, and he attached himself to us. He’s one of the very first people who gave us a rub. Just being friends with him by association and being involved with him in storylines and having matches with him people immediately accepted that we were cool. We’ll never forget that.”

Kevin Owens could look to move to AEW once his contract with WWE comes to an end. If he does decide to make the jump, The Young Bucks will be there to help him get to the top of the company.
