Christopher Keith Irvine, popularly known as Chris Jericho has always been one of the topnotch performers at World Wrestling Federation/ World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE). His rockstar over-the-top as well as arrogant personality has made him a fan-favorite in the company.
Chris Jericho debuted in WWF on Raw is War on August 9, 1999 and referred to himself as “Y2J” and that he has come to save the World Wrestling Federation. He quickly established himself as a heel and started his wrestling career in the company. He departed from the company in 2005 and returned in 2007 only to leave in 2010 and return in 2012, then again leaving, returning in 2013 and leaving until he became a full-time performer from 2016-18. During his last tenure, he was notable for “The List of Jericho” where he would add everyone’s names that offended him. Throughout his WWE career, Jericho had been the first ever Undisputed WWE Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion (nine times), WWF European Champion, World Heavyweight Champion (twice), WWF Hardcore Champion, WCW TV Champion, WCW Cruiserweight Champion (four times), WWE Tag Team Champion (twice), World Tag Team Champion (five times) and WWE United States Champion (twice). He has used the Codebreaker, a double knee facebreaker, the Lionsault which is a springboard moonsault and Walls of Jericho, a submission as his signature moves.
Jericho is presently involved with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and has been the first AEW World Champion, besides adding other belts to his collection. Outside of pro wrestling, Y2J is also a rock musician and has his own heavy metal band called Fozzy.
