WWE Clash of Champions is just a few hours away, and the card is set. The King of the Ring tournament final was supposed to happen tonight on the pay-per-view, but that was pushed to Monday Night RAW earlier this week.
Similarly, reports suggest that Vince McMahon has been changing the scripts of several shows in the last few weeks. So, there is absolutely no doubt that it could happen once again tonight just before the Clash of Champions PPV kicks off.
If you're wondering if last-minute changes can actually happen on pay-per-view nights, let me remind you that several changes have taken place this year just before PPV has kicked off. It happened even at WrestleMania, so a change at Clash of Champions is not going to be a surprise.
Without further ado, here are 3 last-minute changes WWE could make tonight before the pay-per-view begins:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#3 – Daniel Bryan joins Erick Rowan in the match vs Roman Reigns
We finally have more clarity in the 'Who attacked Roman Reigns' storyline but is that the end of it? Erick Rowan was revealed as the attacker and Daniel Bryan, who was his partner, was not impressed one bit.
However, this could just be another twist in the tale. Bryan has been acting as the 'good guy' in this story and so far, has been continuously claiming that he had nothing to do with the attacks.
Now, with the match between Roman and Rowan set to be a No Disqualification one, it won't be a surprise if Bryan comes out to help his 'former' tag-team partner. All rumours and indications suggest that we are going to have a new version of the “It's me, Austin! It's me, Austin! It was me all along!” phrase set to be used in this storyline.
Roman and Bryan are scheduled to face each other in a lot of shows from now and it would the best way to take this storyline forward.

#2 – Kofi Kingston to wrestle in the SmackDown Live tag-team match?
All three members of the New Day are tag-team champions thanks to WWE's Freebird Rule rule and that might be used tonight at Clash of Champions. They are set to defend their SmackDown Live tag-team titles against The Revival and it looks like Xavier Woods is still injured.
Woods was beaten up by The Revival with the help of Randy Orton a few of weeks back on Monday Night RAW. He injured his knee following that attack and has not been cleared to compete just yet.
Scott Dawson has now hinted that Woods could be still injured. The titles have to be defended tonight and thus Kofi Kingston might have to step in and work with Big E. The WWE champion takes on Randy Orton as well tonight.
If this is the case, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman might not be the only ones competing twice tonight at WWE Clash of Champions!
#1 – Triple threat match for the RAW tag-team title?
As per WrestleVotes, Seth Rollins could be in line to drop the WWE Universal title tonight when he faces Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men and the Architect are putting in a double shift tonight at Clash of Champions and WWE might do something to protect them.
The best possible thing to do would be to make the tag-team clash a triple threat match. The OC held the titles before Seth and Braun defeated them for it. Thus, it would be ideal to get them back in the frame for the title.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have been complaining about their match ever since they lost the titles and pleading for another match. With them being the heels on Monday Night RAW along with AJ Styles, it could add more drama to this match.
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are the #1 contenders for the title right now and they are a newly formed team. Handing them the titles at this point might not be the best decision but then again, Rollins and Strowman won the title minutes after teaming up!
