One WWE Superstar who is quietly rising through the ranks is Drew McIntyre. While he is currently paired with Dolph Ziggler, many people, including this writer believe Drew is being groomed for a major run towards one of the top two WWE titles, whether it be the WWE Championship or the WWE Universal Championship.
Drew returned to the WWE on April 1, 2017, after a 3-year hiatus from the company. Drew quickly captured the NXT Championship, in route to was obviously a fast-track back to the main roster.
