#1 CM Punk never the main event WrestleMania

Fighting in the main event of WrestleMania is one of the things CM Punk failed to do. What's ironic about this is Punk wanted the main event more than anything in WWE. During his eight-year-long stint, a total of eight WrestleMania took place.
Though he wasn't ready the first few years after he made his way into WWE, during his last three years in the company, he was one of the biggest stars. He had momentum and fans loved his "The Best in The World" character.
Is this man the funniest man in wrestling?
He could've closed at least one of those three WrestleMania's, but he wasn't given the chance. Surprisingly, John Cena got the opportunity to main event all those three WrestleManias. Punk should've at least got the main event spot at WM 29 since he was scheduled to face The Undertaker, who had his streak on the line.
However, the officials passed that opportunity on to The Franchise Player. Finally, John Cena came out of the main event picture in 2014. However, the officials still weren't very ready to let Punk main event WM. Well, "The Best In The World" had enough. Due to this and a few other reasons he parted ways with WWE.
