WWE star CM Punk returned this week, on the TV screen at least. Still on a break from WWE, Punk broke his silence about the events that unfolded in the last few months.
The three-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion hasn't made any appearance on the ring, since his Royal Rumble outing on January 26, 2014. Though there have been reports of Punk having retired from WWE, company CEO Vince McMahon has termed his absence as 'being on a sabbatical'.
Punk has as of yet remained silent about this issue, since he is still under WWE contract. But the recently reclusive wrestler recently featured on stand-up comedian Marc Maron's talk show/podcast on IFC 'Maron'.

The 35-year-old Punk refused to divulge any further details about his absence from the ring or any probable return. He instead tickled Maron's funny bone, by making comparisons between wrestlers and stand-up comedians.
In some good news for Punk fans, congratulations may be in order for him and his newly-wed wife AJ Lee. The WWE diva is rumoured to be pregnant with their first child after having married Punk on June 13 this year.
The former Divas champion lost her title in a shock loss to debutant Paige in April. Since then Lee has been missing from the WWE circuit. Thus, reports of pregnancy and a marriage with CM Punk may suggest that both of them may have started settling down, and looking for a life outside the WWE ring.
